Systems Integrator

One Full-Time Position

The Position

Church Media Squad is looking for a highly motivated and analytical Systems Integrator to join our growing Systems Integration Squad. At Church Media Squad, we exist to make church media better, and our new Systems Integrator will play a critical role in helping us achieve that goal.

The Systems Integrator will work closely with the Director of Systems Integration to create, maintain, and manage automations and systems across all departments of the company, primarily using no-code or low-code solutions like n8n.io, Make.com, Zapier, Airtable, Notion, ClickUp, and Fillout.com. We aim to increase efficiency and productivity while maintaining our commitment to excellence in serving our clients. The Systems Integrator will collaborate with other System Integrators to solve complex issues, fix errors, and develop new automations to streamline processes and improve efficiency.

Examples of tasks include data syncing between platforms, form submission handling, customized reporting, data analysis, and more. The ideal candidate should have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively when developing automations. Maintaining clear documentation of created automations and understanding existing documentation is also crucial.

All Church Media Squad employees work completely remotely. Full-time employees receive a company MacBook Pro after their first six weeks with Church Media Squad. Church Media Squad is an Apple-only environment.

Qualifications:

  • Must have experience in creating, managing, and optimizing systems and automations

  • Proficient in low/no-code automation platforms such as Make.com, n8n.io, and Zapier.com

  • Understanding database tools such as Airtable, with a particular focus on formula building.

  • Passion for working with data and a strong analytical mindset, with a proven ability to turn complex data into actionable insights. The ideal candidate will be a "data nerd" who enjoys diving into data to identify areas for improvement and increase efficiency.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

  • A love for finding new and creative ways to solve problems

  • Experience in Javascript, SQL and/or Python are a plus.

  • Experience building with tools like Glide, Bubble.io, Noloco etc. is a plus.

  • Fluency in English is required. 

  • Familiarity with generative AI and Large Language Models (LLM), and experience integrating them into low-code/no-code platforms, is a plus.

  • Experience working for a church is particularly valuable, as it enables better collaboration with the church staff we serve daily.

Responsibilities:

  • 9am-5pm official working hours in a US time zone (some flexibility is allowed)

  • Collaborate with various departments to identify areas for improvement, gather requirements for new automations, and increase efficiency

  • Develop new solutions using low and no-code automation platforms such as n8n.io and Zapier.com.

  • Build forms, develop dashboards and widgets, and create data-rich reports for managers and executive-level staff.

  • Send a meme to josh@churchmediasquad.com representing your love of systems.

  • Fix errors on Squad automation platforms (Make.com, Airtable, Zapier, etc.).

  • Ensure that systems and processes are streamlined and optimized to increase efficiency and productivity.

  • Regularly be in contact with the Squad via our company Slack.

Other Details:

  • Reports to the Director of Systems Integration

  • TheSquad will purchase a Macbook Pro for you 6 weeks after your start date.

  • Higher internet speeds are helpful for this position! 

  • This is a W2 Employee position with a starting pay range of $50-60k/year.

  • Church Media Squad has an annual pay raise period every January after your first full year of employment.
